Committee Updates

The Site Team is on fire right now working several hours per week collaborating with property owners, architects, city personnel, bankers, consultants – you name it, we’re planning and discussing it!  We’re on a tight timeline to make this project a-go and super pumped to do so!  Kate, Site Team Chair 

The Membership Team continues to find new and innovative methods of reaching potential new members and to keep our current membership engaged. Working closely with the Communications Team our goal is to generate excitement for our members and educate future members of the benefits of being a Co-op member-owner. Joy, Membership Team Chair

The Operations Team is working hard to educate ourselves and prepare for the work ahead to make a fully operational cooperative grocery store a reality. If you have experience in retail management, sourcing materials, or policy governance we would love for you to join our team. Sally and Paige, Operations Team Co-Chairs

The Capital Campaign Team is gearing up for a successful campaign in January. This team is building on the models of other strong campaigns conducted by food co-ops in recent years. Our planning work includes creating campaign materials, organizing logistics for the campaign, and recruiting and training campaign volunteers. Tom, Capital Campaign Chair

The Communications Team continues to update and educate member-owners and the community about our Co-op and other Co-ops. We communicate through the monthly newsletter and daily on social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter coming soon). We welcome anyone to join our committee that is interested in writing and/or coordinating communications to local media outlets. Jodie, Communications Team Chair
