Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I am looking for others to join me in promoting the Cedar Falls Food Co-op this summer at our local farmers markets! It’s a great (and fun) way to meet many supporters, share our progress, and recruit members!!

I think more publicity would be good. Maybe a Facebook ad, another Courier article or ad. I’ve been surprised at how many of my acquaintances who haven’t heard about the coop or who don’t know how to join. I know you have already done several public meetings and the farmer’s market, but the word is still not generally known. Where can I get a pamphlet or other printed application to give to friends who are interested? Keep up the good work.
Hi Betty! Thanks for your comment. We will be at the farmers market this weekend, and you’re welcome to grab a few extra paper applications if you’d like to hand them out to friends. Make sure you tell them about our June member drive for the bike! We appreciate your support!
